Inspiration.

With couture event experience in Chicago, founder and principal designer, Jessica Arendas has been involved in the events industry since 2005. From weddings to corporate trade show design, Arendas has done it all and loves a challenge. She is also an ordained reverend with the Universal Life Church, just in case her services are needed.

Her passion is certainly wedding planning, “I am so lucky to be a part of my clients’ memorable moments, it is definitely my favorite part of this process,” says Arendas.

L&L Design was inspired by her lovely and amazing grandmothers, Lourdes and Lorraine.

Lourdes has a flair for design, drawing and fashion - always standing out in exotic looks and thick Cuban accent. Jessica has learned more than just Spanish from her Gam, “She is an incredibly outgoing and thoughtful woman - she is always socializing and always fabulous,” says Arendas.

Grandma Lorraine always had a new painting on a rock, piece of driftwood, or her favorite, the kitchen mural. Jessica was always in awe and has since taken up her Gram’s love of painting and crafting.“She sees beauty in nature and simplicity, while still rocking a cheetah print scarf,” says Arendas.
